Just When Despair Threatens to Engulf...

This is a picture of a miracle. My prolife book, just released two days ago was #3 last night and the top hot new release. Since I have done no advertising except to Facebook friends, I am very excited. This is a book I think everyone should read. It gives a unique perspective on abortion few people have. Yes, I am biased but there is no doubt. The Cities4Life model is one that changes the picture of abortion on demand when the Church steps up and behaves the way the Church should.

While the book was climbing in the charts, I was on the sidewalks of the abortion center as I am every Monday. It started off frustrating and despairing. Three hours of bitter cold, minimal interactions from the mamas streaming in, and three security people making sure no one stopped to talk with us.

The photo above is by our faithful counselor Anna who always thinks to photograph us in action. I am calling out to the abortion minded mamas on my megaphone. None of the mamas paid any attention to us for the first three hours.

Then, at the time we normally leave, two mamas asked to go on our mobile ultrasound unit on the RV.  They both chose life, and the young father of the second couple accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. It was a very satisfying day, even though all I had for lunch was a mint I snagged in between counseling on the RV.

Then I came home to the first review of my new book Singing in the Darkness (click here to view):

Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Singing in the Darkness shines light into the heart of what is often hidden with verbiage and opinion, or simply ignored as if it were inconsequential. Vicky Kaseorg shares first hand experiences with candor, somehow bringing light into a very dark place. Her writing makes you feel as if you were her best friend and she is sharing confidences with you. As she speaks of the bird who sings before dawn, she, too, is one of those birds."Or does he sing, not in anticipation of the sunrise, but to lighten the darkness with his sweet voice?

There is always something to despair over...but there is also always something to rejoice over. I will hold that truth near.
