Good Steward of God's Varied Grace

A friend sent me an unexpected gift yesterday. She knew there had been some struggles of late, and she wanted to do something nice for me. I opened the gift, and was overcome by her kindness. This is someone I have never even met face to face. Over the years, we have grown to know each other solely by writing back and forth, having met through an internet business transaction.

It is easy to feel abandoned and alone when it feels like your world is caving in. And then God sends a shaft of light in the darkness, from a completely unexpected direction. It explodes in a million colors, painting hope where Satan had been so determined to paint despair.

Thank you friend. You know who you are. Oh that I might be such a messenger of God to others!
