When I need a world that is just what I want it to be, I write. The less the real world is what I hope and pray for, the more precious my written world becomes. I wrote about 7,000 words yesterday, finishing the sequel to Joe- The Horse Nobody Loved. (which is #1 still this morning....yay.) I think the sequel is good, but all I have thus far is the rough finished manuscript. I will begin reading today for the first edit. Then I will know if it is good. I'll keep you posted. This book has a happy ending. I don't like writing or reading books that don't end happily, any more than I like living life that way.
Jesus tells us in this world we will have trouble, but not to lose hope, for it all ends happily for those who love Him. I cling to that promise. And I write stories with happy endings.
