The Purpose Underlying Our Actions

Good news! I just discovered I made $10.23 over the past six months through people clicking on the ads on my blog! Amazon sent me instructions on information they needed before they could cut me a check. I am on pins and needles thinking of all the ways I can spend this money!

When I posted one of my daily inspirational blogs on a facebook group that I know is filled with atheists, the angry atheists complained to the administrator. They knew the only reason I was posting on their group was to get traffic to my blog so I could pull in the big bucks.

I was so upset they were on to me, cause I was counting on that extra nickle this month.

Here is what God says about what we should be doing with our time: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

I tried to explain that was why I posted my blog to the atheists, but they didn't believe me. So I pocketed my nickle, and repented of my greed.

Romans 12:1-5

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
