Abortion Pill Reversal and a Wedding

Yesterday morning, I awoke to a text on my phone with the photo of two beautiful people dressed in white with the announcement that they had gotten married the night before by the justice of the peace. This was amazing news as the radiant bride was the woman who reversed her abortion through the abortion pill reversal protocol a month ago. 

At that time, she was living with her boyfriend and had decided it was not the right time for a baby. Neither she nor the boyfriend knew Jesus as Lord of their lives. Nonetheless, she had concerns about abortion, knowing it was not something she could tell her parents she had done.

Despite her concerns, she went inside the clinic. “It was a terrible place,” she told us later. She swallowed the abortion pill.

Almost immediately, she regretted taking the pill. She left the facility sobbing. Her boyfriend noticed the abortionpillreversal com sign our cities4life team posts outside the clinic. When the couple got home, they called the reversal hotline and were able to touch base with our counselor and the Monroe HELP Pregnancy Center nurse who began the abortion pill reversal protocol.  The abortion pill reversal protocol was pioneered by Charlotte doctor, Matthew Harrison, who partners with our ministries to walk alongside women who choose life.

The baby miraculously not only survived but appears to be thriving. We shared the Gospel with this young couple and both accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. We immediately expounded upon God‘s clear commands regarding sexual purity outside of marriage. We let them know that Cities4Life has done a few weddings...

The next day, the mom texted me to say they were discussing marriage. And then two nights ago, they got married with plans for a larger ceremony after the baby arrives.

There are many days when the opposition is enormous out on the sidewalks of the abortion center. It is not always easy to keep an optimistic outlook. But then God shows up with miracles like the story of the abortion pill reversal couple who saved their baby, asked Jesus to take control of their lives, and within a few weeks, were married in obedience to their new faith.

Best of all, the mom sent me a text thanking all of us, and telling me, “I am so excited to meet my baby. I want to share every part of this journey with you...this baby is alive because of you.” 

Now she meant “you” as in the whole team of Cities4Life and Monroe HELP Pregnancy Center that intervened to save that little baby. It sure felt great to see those words.

I am eager to watch every step, reveling in the amazing goodness of God’s path.  Here is part of the text she sent to our team:
