The Mantle of Praise

This picture is the text message I got a couple of days ago. It is from a young lady I counseled on the sidewalk of the abortion mill. After my impassioned pleas for life, including some heart-felt tears, she left me, and went inside the abortion mill. I watched her walk in, and bowed my head in defeat. A little while later she emerged. She had told them to cancel her appointment.

Now, her heart is filled with joy to have learned the child she is carrying is a little girl.
"I knew it!" I texted back, "Look at that precious face!"
"I know!!!!!" she texted.
She told me I could share this picture of her darling baby with anyone I would like.
"You bet I will," I texted.

This is one of the reasons I love God so much. How awesome He is to allow us to share in a miracle! How inspiring and tender it is for Him to let us see a glimpse of His purpose for us! How loving and gentle and merciful He is in turning despair and fear into blessing and joy.
