The Lord Reigns

I am home and weary from the travel, but glad to celebrate my birthday in my home with my dogs nestled nearby. A pile of must-dos prevent an in-depth blog today, and I may need to take a break from blogging to catch up, and deal with some issues that cannot be shoved aside.

A deluge of messages greeted me this morning, wishing me a happy birthday. It was a sweet encouragement that people would take the time to do so. Thank you, friends. Trials abound right now, but so does God. He is always in the midst of the trials, and I know that what God brings me to, He will bring me through. He did not create me only to destroy me, but to return me to the perfect Garden created before all rebellion. Like Job, I can say with confidence, "In my flesh, I will see God."
