Surging

My latest book, The Tower Builder, is currently offered for a stupendous promotional price of only 99 cents for the e-book. It took me 9 years to develop this book, so that means that for every book sold, I make less than ten cents a year. Not a great return but frankly, if everyone would buy the book and then tell one friend how wonderful it is and then that friend would tell one friend, etc. etc. etc.....I would be a millionaire before the next 9 years go by.

The promotion only lasts 1 more day. On the first day, it surged to #11 in its category on Amazon. I was ecstatic. By day's end however, it had dropped to #13. Then I was down in the dumps. No one realizes that this is not just about towers. It is really about God, and miracles of discovery, and God leading me step by step to solve an 80 year old mystery, and revealing as always, wonderful lessons about living life to its fullest, walking by faith. And yes, there are towers in it too. But they are rare and wonderful towers. Besides that, the towers are a symbol. Have I convinced you yet?
