Created by God with Great Purpose

I received a private message on Facebook yesterday from a "friend" that I was not even certain how I knew her. Later I found out she knew me through my dog book about Honeybun, and we had a mutual dog rescue friend, who happens to be one of my favorite people on earth. She loves God and dogs -- how lovely is that!?  Her name is Lynn Reilly Clements, and after reading her note, I asked if I could share it on my blog. It gave me chills. I think you will see why:

I just want to thank you for all you do to help guide women to choose life. When we were pregnant with our first child, we were told he was going to be born with severe mental challenges and heart defects and that we should abort him. Those were the specialists telling us that. Our regular OB, Dr. Melody Bruce, told us to have faith in God and to not listen to the specialists. She felt he would be fine. WELL....we trusted in The Lord and refused to kill our baby. He was born early but perfectly healthy. Not a single thing wrong with him. The specialists...those who are considered experts by so many....had written him off as worthy of only death. As if he was garbage. God's Grace is so great and powerful. We never forgot the advice and words of our OB. We took the BR from her last name and the ODY sound from her first name and named that baby BRODIE after her. So, thank you for helping change those hearts and helping those women see the light. You are saving precious babies. One might just cure cancer. Every life is created by God with great purpose and it is nothing but ignorant murder to not choose life.
