On Fragile Wings

Father Lord, as I venture out to the Abortion mill sidewalks, the terrible place where mothers sacrifice their children in their despair, selfishness, hopelessness, and disillusion, may I be your heart, speak your words, extend your comfort, and draw them from the precipice they are about to tumble over. May I reflect your light, drawing them like moths towards your brilliant glorious mercy and grace. May they respond with fragile gossamer wings compelled to abandon darkness and flutter with what little strength they have into your presence. Amen.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Psalm 34:17-20

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
