The most astonishing email came yesterday following the Love Life Charlotte prayer march on Saturday. One of the women Cities4Life is helping thanked me and all of us who have been helping her. She said she had never expected, nor felt, so much love before in her life. Then she told me amazing news. Unbeknownst to me, she was the aunt of two young ladies I had led to the Lord and helped each of them choose life over abortion. I remembered them well as I was a brand new counselor at the time.
While I did send them daily Bible verses, and contacted them off and on, I really had little knowledge of what had happened following that profession of faith. Back then, we did not have Love life Charlotte helping us by providing spiritual mentors for the women, and so I did my best but it was not as much as our new mentors are able to do. I followed many women and it was hard to be as connected with each one as much as I wanted to be.
Anyway, the woman told me that she had not even known of me until now when I started helping her. She certainly knew Cites4Life had provided baby showers, even beds and food, and many other resources for her nieces , but until I saw her at the Love Life march with them, she didn’t realize I had been the contact person helping all of them! What a small and glorious world!
In her letter, she thanked all of us for all the help and resources she was receiving. Then she added a line that gave me chills of joy.
“Oh before I forget I want to say a special thanks for helping my nieces. They’ve only watched and listened to me talk about God, but now they actually know who He is... They are in church almost every Sunday now and I think I owe that to you guys.”
Wow. Just wow.
I will be out at the sidewalk of the abortion center every day this week to fill in for some folks that will be on vacation. One friend asked if I would go on vacation afterwards since I would likely need it.
No I won’t. I cannot WAIT to be out there, to see the miracles of God played out before my very eyes day after day. To know because our Cities4Life teams were there, babies are alive who would otherwise be dead. Women who knew of God now KNOW God. What a precious gift this work is to me.

My name is Lexus Gattling. I am 23 year old single mom of a 3 year old little diva name Mi’Lynn who chose life thanks to Mrs. Vicky 😀. I just recently accepted a position as an appointment setter making $8.00 hourly. But, November 21, I was given the opportunity to host my own radio show.
