A couple were stopped by one of our Cities4Life volunteers before turning into the abortion center parking lot. They didn’t speak much English. The Volunteer assumed they were Hispanic and handed them our Spanish literature. It is filled with pictures of babies at different gestational ages in the womb. They took the literature as I approached.
“No aborto,” I said.
They nodded and drove on. They pulled over a little ways up the street and we could see them looking through the pamphlet.
I got one of our Spanish counselors on the phone, and hurried up the street to them. They rolled down their window.
“Espanol!’ I said, holding the phone out to them.
“No,” the man said, “No speak Espanol.”
Now what? He did speak some English, so I said, “You don’t want to kill your baby do you?” Both of them shook their head. Then they drove on and I watched, praying they would pass the driveway to the abortion center. They did. They drove out of sight and did not return.
Three women chose life for their babies yesterday but that one was perhaps the most miraculous to me. ALL they needed was to see photos of the baby in the womb. That little nudge helped them do the right thing. Praise God for His ability to speak and help them understand when we cannot.

Romans 8:24-25
For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
