IN This We Have Hope

I wish I had better news. My beloved dog, Honeybun is still not doing well. For those of you who are of the praying type, I would appreciate prayers. She has intense vertigo of unknown origin. Doc put her on antibiotics hoping if it is an inner ear infection, this will clear it. She cannot walk straight, and falls alot. She veers to the right and holds her head sideways with a confused look on her face. I love my little dog and watching her struggle like this is heart-breaking. Anyone who has watched a loved one or loved pet suffer knows what I mean.

I therefore weep at the drop of a hat. I almost didn't write a blog today, because it is so hard to muster energy for anything. But, there is one thing keeping me from utter devastation. I need to share that one thing, because everyone needs that one thing.

God. The promise of eternity. The knowledge that this earth will pass away, but the Word of the Lord will never pass away. The assurance that Jesus paid the penalty for my sin, and He will never leave me or forsake me. The faith that something far better awaits me. The belief that all dogs go to Heaven.
