Journey's End

As we drove back to Sister Amy's home in Tucson from my gala Vegas book signing, we found one last eager reader in a podunk desert town along the way. He was a little wooden-faced as I told him about my book, but gradually warmed up to me. Still, I couldn't quite close the deal and make the sale.
So I moved on to the wildlife. Maybe they would be better customers. We enticed some peacocks nearby, one of your more common desert inhabitants, but they were not interested in my book. However, my burrito was another story.
One last charming couple wished us well, and we headed wearily the final leg of the journey home.

This sign reminded us, one is always on the cusp. Choose everlasting life, or eternal death of separation from our Creator.  I could have talked to wooden Indians all day, but it would have done me no good. Choose life. Choose Jesus. I want to see you in Heaven...and sell you a book.

Deuteronomy 30:19

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

Galatians 1:15

But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
