A Question You Don't Want God to Ask You

Conrad, a young Cities4Life volunteer who wants to have the right answer before God
Conrad is a new volunteer. He decided to volunteer on the sidewalks of the busiest abortion center in the Southeast when a bunch of friends from his church began telling him about what they were seeing week after week when they volunteered. Babies saved. People receiving Jesus as Lord. Mouths of lions being shut. Well, maybe not lions' jaws closed literally, but for sure figuratively.

Conrad wanted in. He is only starting out as a volunteer, but believes this is what God would have him do. His testimony is important as he asks himself...and us...a crucial question.

Hi, my name is Conrad! I first came to the abortion clinic with my brother and seeing all the mothers going in to get an abortion broke my heart and filled me with a desire to do something.  Millions of babies are dying and I don't want to stand before God and be asked the question: "What did you do about it?"

I think when God said, "Whoso offends one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea," it could also apply to looking the other way when babies are being murdered by the millions. There is also a sense of peace and joy that comes with doing the will of God, and the spiritual conflict has deepened my prayer life and my walk with God.

In this wicked world God needs his people to stand up for what is right. Even if we have to sit in the sun for hours it is worth it just to see one mom choose life! We should shine our light for Christ and show love and compassion to people in need.

Yesterday, Sheryl Chandler (of Truth and Mercy Pro-life Ministry) and I hosted a baby shower for a young lady who chose life after going to abortion centers FIVE times to abort her baby. When she came the last time, she encountered Cities4Life counselors who listened to her. She felt like they understood the terrible stresses she was under that made her consider such an unthinkable act. She needed someone to tell her they would help without making her feel condemned for being in that terrible place. She was frightened and alone, and if we hadn't been there...she would have killed the child she now cannot wait to meet.
A sense of part of the bounty provided at baby shower to bless the moms who choose life and demonstrate the lavish abundant love of God

What will you say when God asks YOU, "Millions of babies are dying....what did YOU do about it?" My prayer is you will say, "I filled out the volunteer application HERE and started today to be a voice for those babies."
